RIM.TOOLS [Rim Technology]

The screen, menu and application manager (SAM) for the RIM.RDB datamanagement system assists the development of menus and screens for dataentry and retrieval. SAM also has the capability to easily call externalapplications and can be used to provide a consistent user interfaceacross multiple hardware platforms. SAM supports the three primarygraphical user interfaces: MacIntosh, XII and Windows 3.1The Report Writer (RPW) interfaces with RIM.RDB to create reportspecifications and print information from the database according to thesespecifications. The program requires a small number of commands toachieve a professional report format and style. RPW is capable ofestablishing a title page, columnar data, headings, body text, page, datetitling as well as titling for trailing attributes.
